January 2008                        Block of the Month Clubs          Sample in the shop


“Buck a Block”   There are 12 blocks in the quilt and you can purchase a kit for each block for $1.00.
The $12 must be paid up front when you sign up so we will know how many blocks to make. The first
month you will also need to purchase a package of 2” Thangles at a cost of $5.00.
                                     Blocks can be picked up any time during the month.

Mystery Quilt Block of the Month

$5.00 membership Fee payable when you sign up. You will be given the fabric requirements for
the entire quilt when you sign up and instructions for part of the quilt will follow each month. You will
choose the fabrics you will use for you own quilt. Since there is no monthly fee for the class we do
appreciate you purchasing any fabrics you may need at Knits & Bolts. You are entitled to a 15%
discount for the fabrics you buy for this quilt.

Strip Quilt Club       Jan-Apr-July-Sept

All of these quilts are made using 2 ½” strips. On the 2nd Saturday of the month there will be a
demonstration of the quilt and how to put it together. You buy a kit of 50 pre-cut 2/1/2 “ strips to be
used in the quilt. You choose and purchase your own background fabrics, borders and backing.
You will need to sign up at least 2 days prior to the demo so we know how many kits to cut.
The cost is $30 for the kit, including the pattern if you sign up before the demo.
After the demo, the kits and patterns will be available to anyone for a cost of $35 for the kit and $5.00
for the pattern.
